Select the Reset password link on the sign-in screen. If you use a PIN instead, see PIN sign-in issues. If you're using a work device that's on a network, you may not see an option to reset your password or PIN. In that case, contact your administrator.

On the sign-in screen, type your Microsoft account name if it's not already displayed. If there are multiple accounts on the computer, choose the one you want to reset. Below the password text box, select I forgot my password. Follow the steps to reset your password.
For versions of Windows 10 earlier than 1803, local account passwords can't be reset because there are no security questions. You can reset your device to choose a new password, however this option will permanently delete your data, programs, and settings. If you've backed up your files you'll be able to restore your deleted files. If you're signing in to only your local PC, yes. However, we recommend that you keep your PC more secure by using a strong password. When you use a password, only someone who knows it can sign in. If you want to sign in to Windows with a Microsoft account, a password is required. For more info, see Can I sign in to Windows without a password? Stronger passwords contain a variety of characters, including uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols or spaces. A strong password should also be something that is difficult for a stranger to guess or crack. It shouldn't contain a complete word, or easy-to-find details like your real name, your user name, or your birth date.
It depends on whether you're using a third-party email address. If your email address ends in outlook.com, hotmail.com, live.com, or another Microsoft service, changing the password for your Microsoft account also changes it for that email service.
But you can use any email address for your Microsoft account, even an email address from a third-party web-based mail service like Google Mail or Yahoo! Mail. When you choose a password for your Microsoft account, it doesn't change the password you might need to use to sign in to web mail on a third-party site.
Of course, you can also write your password down and keep it in a safe place. Taped to the underside of your laptop or the inside of your desk drawer is probably not a good idea, however. If you do write your password down, be sure to keep it separate from your PC.
The steps to reset your password will vary a bit depending on if your computer is on a domain, or in a workgroup. If your computer is part of a work or school organization there's a good chance it's part of a domain. If this is a home computer it's almost certainly in a workgroup.
Select the Start button , select Control Panel, select User Accounts, select User Accounts, and then select Manage User Accounts. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
To reset your password on your trusted Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings (or System Preferences) > Sign in with your Apple ID (or Apple ID). Then click Password & Security, Change Password, and follow the onscreen instructions.

Marist's Account Management tool, ReACT, will allow the Marist Community with active Marist accounts to easily change or update their password, whether they remember their current password or not. After a simple set-up process, the Marist Community will have the ability to update their Marist Account password on a computer or mobile device, any time of day.
If you know your password, you can enter your email address or choose the Marist SSO button. Once selecting Marist SSO, you will be brought to the standard Marist sign-in page. You should enter your Marist Account and password and click submit.
If you do not know or remember your password, you must enter your email address and click Continue. This will bring you to a screen with any authentication methods you set up, similar to the below screenshot:
You will then come to the page to create your new password. There are several password rules that are listed on the page. Each item will turn from an x icon to a check mark icon as you fulfill each rule. The first rule, passwords must match, will not transition to a check mark until you enter your new password in both the Password and Confirm Password boxes. Please note that the longer the password, the fewer requirements of the password.
You can enter your Email address and choose two of your authentication methods to sign in, or select the Marist SSO option and sign in with your Marist Account and password. You will then be brought to a page where you can configure or update your authentication methods. You can update your Challenge Questions, the Challenge Question for the Help Desk, your alternate email, or SMS Support.

If you can't sign in to Netflix, you can reset your password by email or by text message if you've added your phone number to your account. If you forget the email address or phone number you registered with, you may be able to provide more information online to recover your account.
Follow the steps in the password reset email you receive. The email will typically arrive within a few minutes, and contains a link that will sign you in to Netflix automatically. Once signed in, you'll be asked to create a new password. Your new password can't be the same as your previous password.
If you haven't added a phone number to your account, you'll need to follow the directions above to reset your password by email. Once you have access to your account, you can add a phone number at any time by going to your Account page and selecting Add phone number. If the phone number on your account is no longer valid, you can go to your Account page and select Change phone number.
The password reset system will only work if you have previously added a cell phone number, email address, or both into the MyPortal Communication Preferences (If you are not logged in you will be required to do so before accessing the Communication Preferences form). After updating your contact information in Communication Preferences, you will need to wait 30 minutes before trying to reset your password.
Select the first option if you forgot your password, and you will be provided options to reset your password by using information (email or phone number) you provided in MyPortal. If you have not provided additional contact information, then you will need to contact the Help Desk between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Select the second option if you know your password, but you tried incorrect options too many times. Your account is now locked and you need to unlock it. The steps to unlock your account are nearly the same as to reset your password. 350c69d7ab
